THE FIRST AMAZIGH FESTIVAL IN SANTA CRUZ CALIFORNIA.
Fattah and Mohamed from Aza have just recieved a grant from the Cultural Council of Santa Cruz to put on the first Amazigh Cultural Festival in Santa Cruz. It is going to happen on the 30th of July at the Kuumbwa Jazz Center in Santa Cruz. It is going to be a one day long festival. The program will contain music and dance workshops, a slide show about Imazighen and a lecture about their culture and history. Authentic food will be served. The festival will close with a two hour concert of Aza. Hope to see y'all there.
